Information for our patients

Appointments

  • How do I make an appointment?

I can only see patients who have been referred to me by a doctor, so if you would like to see me, you must first ask your GP for a letter of referral. Once I receive the letter, I will contact you directly to arrange an appointment. The GP referral letter can be emailed to rhalligan@bonsecours.ie or referrals@bonsecours.ie

I am in full time private practice and so I do not have access to beds or diagnostics in public hospitals, only in the Bons. Therefore, when booking you in, my secretary will always ask if you have health insurance cover for the Bons.

So, the way to make an appointment is via GP referral. If your child was admitted to the Bons under my care when I was on call, there may be follow up appointments in my clinic if required.
