Dr Niamh Lynch
Consultant Paediatrician / Paediatric Neurologist
Dr Lynch is a consultant paediatrician with a special interest in paediatric neurology. Dr Lynch accepts referrals for paediatric neurology to her private practice. Dr Lynch will see general paediatric patients who are admitted via Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU) or as a hospital admission when she is on call.
Dr Lynch is a graduate of University College Cork, Ireland, completing her undergraduate studies in 1998, winning The James M. O’ Donovan Medical Prize, The Pearson Medal for Surgery and The John Kelly Prize for Clinical Surgery.
Her paediatric training took place in Temple Street University Hospital, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin, and Cork University Hospital. She did a Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology in the British Columbia Children’s Hospital, Vancouver, Canada.
Dr Lynch provides a comprehensive service in both acute paediatrics and office-based consultations. Acute admissions are accepted through the booking office in The Bon Secours Hospital, Cork. Her clinic is in the Old Quarter Medical Centre, Ballincollig, Cork.
