Paediatric Neurology
Neurology is the area of medicine that looks after the brain, spinal cord and nerves. Paediatric neurology also assesses the development of children to make sure they are meeting their developmental milestones.
PLEASE NOTE: Dr Lynch is no longer accepting new referrals. This will be reviewed in April 2025. However, she will continue to accept concussion referrals.

Dr Niamh is part of the UPMC Irish Concussion network. Children with concussion (up to the age of 18) are referred by GP or from emergency departments. They are assessed using an online tool called ImPact, and a comprehensive clinical examination.

Dr Niamh will see general pediatric patients when admitted via Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU) or as a hospital admission when she is on call.
